Representative from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan who attended the events of the 29th Session of the Conference of the parties of the UN Framework Conference on Climate Change (COP-29) visited Nizami museum. The independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan was recognized by Pakistan in December 12, 1991. Since diplomatic and cultural relations were established between two countries.
Deputy chief financial officer of Faisalabad University of Agriculture Umar Saeed visited Nizami museum. At the meeting with the director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi academician Rafael Huseynov he noted that he gained a lot of experience by participating in events organized in Green Zone of COP-29, and was especially impressed to the meeting with world leaders organised in framework of confrence. He also said that discussions were held not only in the field of climate and ecology, but also the prosperity and future of mankind.
He also noticed that one of the most impressive momemts of his trip to Baku was visit to the Nizami Museum, located in Nizami street. During the conversation with the director of the museum the perspectives of bilaterial cooperation were discussed. Umar Said informed Rafael Huseynov that he had information about the museums created under his leadersdhip in Azerbaijan and abroad and expressed hope for future cooperation in order to create the museum in Faisalabad city of Pakistan.
Official from Pakistan also mentioned that he was pleased to get acquainted with the exhibition of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, preserving the rich historical past and culture of Azerbaijan. In the testimonial book of the museum Umar Saeed wrote that one of the best impressions of Azerbaijan was visit to mausoleum of Nizami Ganjevi in Ganja. At the end of the meeting the director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, academician Rafael Huseynov presented his books “Mahsati Ganjavi” Portrait-essay “(in urdu), “Carpets of the Nizami Museum" and “Beyond the time and space” to Umar Saeed.
