Delegation headed by MP of French National Assembly, President of Friends of Azerbaijan in France Association Jean Francois Mansel visited National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature of ANAS.

Otherwise Jean Francois Mansel, MP of the French National Assembly, Vice-President of the Azerbaijani-French Friendship Group of the French National Assembly and member of the National Assembly Francois Seliye, MP of French National Assembly, a member and secretary of international affairs commission of the French National Assembly, a member of Republicans Party Michel Tero, a member of Assembly's economic affairs commission, Major of Houdan community, a member of the Republicans Party Jean-Marie Tetar, France's well-known sculptor and artist, UNESCO peace artist Ms. Hedva Ser, were among the visitors of the museum.

The guests were informed about honorable way of Azerbaijan literature, notable representatives of this literature – Gatran Tabrizi, Mahsati Ganjavi, Khagani Shirvani, Nizami Ganjavi, Imadaddin Nasimi, Shah Ismayil Khatai, Mahammad Fuzuli and others. The carpets, miniatures, glazed tiles and mementos were welcomed by them.

The guests were donated “Mahsati Ganjavi” monograph in French by Academician Rafael Huseynov on the occasion of 900th anniversary of outstanding XII century Azerbaijan poetess Mahsati Ganjavi.

Note that, on October 7 Mahsati Ganjavi monument was erected in the city of Cognac, France by support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and it is the first monument of her life abroad. This event is a result of further strengthening of friendship, and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and France.
