3rd meeting of the Scientific Council on Philological Problems for the current year was held

National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature under the chairmanship of Director of Institut, Academician Rafael Huseynov, held 3rd meeting of the Scientific Council on Problems of Philology of the Republican Council for the Coordination of Scientific Research for the current year.

At the meeting were discussed 33 theses from which 2 are presented for the degree of Doctor of Science and 31 are Ph.D.

At the event, was approved the theme of the thesis of Firudin Gurbanov on "Historical evolution of the Irfan symbols in the Azerbaijani literary tradition of the Middle Ages" according to the program of training for PhD of ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami with the introduction of changes titeled"Irfan symbols in the Azerbaijani literary tradition of the Middle Ages".

And the thesis of doctoral of the Nizami Literature Institute Farid Veliyev on the theme "Folklore tradition in poems in the native Turkic language of the XIII-XV centuries" was not approved due to the incompatibility of the topic with the author's knowledge and abilities.

At the meeting were widely discussed topics for the preparation of the Ph.D on "Creativity of Hanymana Alibeyli", "The role of literary connections in the development of the verse forms of Russian and Arab literature of the 20th century", "The life and work of Bulud Garachorlu Sahand", "The development of Azerbaijani lexicography in the 21st century", "Azerbaijan print journalism in the context of modern media","Turkey's theme in Russian emigre literature","Turkic words in the language of Karabakh Armenians","Multiculturalism and literature (American And Azerbaijani prose of the second half of the twentieth century)"and others.

Thus, at the meeting were approved 20 dissertations themes, with changes in the names of 11 of them. Some topics were not approved and appropriate recommendations were given on the proper design of the studies.

In the course of the discussions, along with Rafael Huseynov, along with Atamoglan Hasanov, Azad Musayev, Bedirhan Ahmadov, Bilal Ismailov, Jalil Nagiyev, Asker Rasulov, Fakhreddin Veisalli, Imamverdi Hamidov, Gazanfar Kazimov, Gorkhmaz Guliyev, Gulu Maharramli, Nadir Mammadli, Seyfaddin Rzasoy, Shafag Alibeyli.
