ANAS Division of Humanitarian Sciences held a next meeting, which was opened by Vice-President, academician Isa Habibbayli.

The issue of improving training in scientific institutions of the Division of Social Sciences was discussed. After discussion, recommendations and instructions were given to the heads of institutions and organizations in this direction.

Further, were discussed the results of admission to doctoral studies and dissertations on programs for the preparation of doctors of philosophy and doctors of sciences for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Academician-Secretary of Division, academician Teymur Karimli noted that, in selecting topics it is necessary to take into account the basic requirements and tasks facing modern science, preference to those having important socio-economic and cultural-moral importance, etc.

After, thesis topics of the doctorates were discussed, exchange of view was held on the topics and suggestions put forward.
