Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami GanjaviRafael Huseynov spoke about "Great Desert" concept, values, tendencies in the space, views on Azerbaijani thinkers at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on the second panel “Turkic civilization and its contribution to world culture” of  "The Great Desert: Cultural Heritage and Role of the World in History" international forum of International Turkic Academy (TWESCO).

The panel highlighted the philosophical thoughts of the great thinker Imadeddin Nasimi, his waves of influence from Central Asia to the Caucasus, from Anatolia to Arab countries. R.Huseynov spoke about Ahmed bey Agaoglu, one of the encyclopedic personalities of his era, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's cultural heritage in the Turkic nations and their role in world history.

In the panel discussions, researchers from the United States, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Turkey, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan shared their views on the history, culture and contribution to the world cultural treasury of the Turkic-speaking peoples covered by the Great Desert.

In the three panels organized by the Forum, "Turkic History" map was also presented.
